He also played a key role supporting the providers and staff of Harvard Vanguard, Dedham Medical and Plymouth Medical through a consolidation under Atrius Health. In 2017 he moved to a senior leadership role as the Executive Director of the Floating Hospital for Children at Tufts Medical Center. During this time he played a significant role in the turnaround of hospital financials and operations as well as growing their community presence in both the ambulatory and inpatient settings. He took a leadership role in implementing a number of programs including One-call for inpatient transfers, a system wide Solutions for Patient Safety program and helped to lead the medical centers early response to the COVID-19 pandemic. In 2020 Joseph joined APP as the Executive Director. He will use his experience in scaling operations, growth, managed care, finance and health system integration to support APP in meeting its goals including growing our community presence, being a key player in the MGB system and building on APP’s reputation for being the premier group for private community practices to seek membership.
